Question What is the best vinyl records shop in Houston, TX that sells mexican/tejano music?
It's been a while since i was looking at the records, the ones that are close to my town on eBay. Are there any places that sells mexican records?

Question Selling vinyl/records, best way to do it?
I have hundreds of records of various genres, mainly 12" dance records. However, some albums. Also, jazz, world music, rock, pop etc. Ranging from the 1960's to about 2005. I am going to sell them, is it best to do it as a "job lot" or in small genre groups, or individually. I was thinking of selling on ebay. Any suggestions. I am wanting the best possible price obviously!

Best Answer I reckon selling them on ebay is a good idea, in terms of job lots, you should get most success by grouping them by artist, bearing in mind that most people are looking for something specific. Question What's the best way to mail vinyl records?
I'm selling some vinyl records on craigslist, and someone in Kansas is buying one. I live in California. What's the best way to mail it to ensure it's not damaged (but isn't too expensive)

Best Answer Find a large cardboard box (check at the grocery store) with heavy (not thin) cardboard. This will need to be the height of the album (12" I assume) and double the width (or 24") along two sides of the box. What you're trying to make is a cardboard "sleeve" into which the album jacket will fit. Cut down the box so 1/2 of the sleeve covers the album; then fold the cardboard so the second half covers the other side. Put inside (before taping) a paper identifying yourself, and the recipient, just in case there is an exterior label mishap. You should now have a sleeve, open on 3 sides: tape those open sides firmly with a quality, 2" wide clear Scotch brand "Mailing tape". Don't use nylon re-enforced tape: shipping companies won't accept it because it jams up their machinery. Print plainly the sender & receiver on the outside, and this advisory: "Fragile: Please throw underhand." Insure it, just in case they can't read English. Send.

Question How can I get the best price for old books, vinyl records etc?
I am having a clearout (in Twickenham) and have a bunch of stuff to get rid of. Lots of book, lots of old vinyl records - mostly in average condition, quite a few bits of household items, old computer equipment, old wooden wine boxes etc, etc. Without spending too much effort, how can I get the best price for all this stuff, particularly the books because they're mostly in good condition and there's a lot of them.

Best Answer eBay is probably your best bet as there will hopefully be people who are looking for the specific items you have. If there are 2 or more people that want your things then hopefully it will result in a bidding war ultimately getting you the best price. Another avenue may be for you to spend some time researching the books, records and other bits that you have online to find out if any of them are rare and collectors items. If this is the case then a specialist auction house may be a better bet.
